I have spent about four hours oogling and drooling at things online that I cannot afford. One day I shall! How ambitious. Anyway, I've been looking at these few things up there. I have quite an obsession with candles and candle houses. I think that feeds into my smell addiction. Absolutely love things that smell good.
Crimbo was spent sleeping in and wandering around Edinburgh for some grub because everything was closed. The parentals and I ended up at a pub and well there was turkey on offer but knowing me, I had to order fish and chips, and a cup of tea. Talk about festive. I really wanted to go to the christmas markets down in the square, but we soon found out everything was closed - obviously. Nevertheless it was still a beautiful day in Edinburgh, even though my cheeks almost fell off after walking around in the blistering cold for such a long time.
Okay, I'm going to start ranting now so bear with me. I feel however, that I have a perfectly good reason for this. First of all, I need to finally let it out: I HATE DISTANCE. Between two people. I absolutely hate it - pardon me but honestly. It irritates me. The reason why it irritates me is because well I'm sure you've all had a special someone in your lives before, and when you have a special someone, a lot of the things you experience everyday you'd want to share with them, because you want them in on the good stuff, no scratch that, the best stuff in life that you can offer them. Be it an amazing mug of hot chocolate you had at Costa, or a street in a foreign country you walked down, a painting you saw, a scent you smelled, things are so different when happiness is shared. Its a wonderful feeling. But life is life and life dishes out situations that you just have to deal with. Fine. I rest my case.
(ich vermisse dich)
In other news, I cannot wait to get my gym routine started again! I've been eating way too much and stuffing my face with amazing food. I need to start training my body to be able to run 10km, if not I would never be able to complete a half marathon which is definitely more than 10km. Anyone want to do the squat and abs challenge with me? I've done the squat challenge, it was great! Perfect for perky buns.
I'm rambling. I hope everyone's had an amazing christmas. The countdown has officially started for the new year, which I'm really looking forward to and grateful that I can welcome it happily with open arms along side my fabulous family and loving friends around the world.
晚安
A.
